Madeline’s second book is perhaps even better than the first and of course leaves me wanting to read book 3 NOW. But that isn’t possible.Havigs goal with these books is to show the development and growth of a great detective mind, so while the mysteries aren’t the ‘keep you in the edge of your seat’ type, they do keep you guessing. The star of the series though is Madeline and how she grows and learns, and challenges herself. As a detective, but also as a person.

I enjoy all of Chautona Havig's books and this one does not disappoint.
I just like the way Chautona writes - easy to read and keeps me interested
Chautona Havig has done it again, wrote a book that is so interesting. She is such a great writer and proves it everytime. This book keeps your interest and leaves you wanting more.
Madeline is not predictable at all and you will love reading about her.
With a title like "Such a Tease," I should have realized that this book would leave me hanging, wanting to read the next book. This book completes the plot, yet does tease the reader with wondering what will happen in the future in Madeline's life. I hope the author can write fast!
In "Such a Tease", the second book in the Meddlin Madeline series, we see Madeline, the main character, again finding herself in the middle of intrigue and activity. This theme she tries to save the city while working at Mr. Merton' bank. My only regret about this book is that I have to wait for the next installment.
I loved the first book in the Meddlin' Madeline series and was so excited to read the 2nd book! If you love a historical, Christian fiction, mystery, with a hint of romance, this book is for you! Madeline is up to her sleuthing ways in this story. It involves a bank, a person or persons of interest, and a plot to hurt many people in many ways. Will the mystery be solved? Find out for yourself and enjoy this story by Chautona Havig!
I really try with Chautona's books to wait to read them. See, here's the thing. If you read the first one and then have to wait a year or two for the next one, that's torture. So I'd rather just wait to read them until more come out. But I couldn't take it any longer and caved the other day. I read both Meddlin' Madeline books back to back, and am kicking myself that I didn't wait until there was a third one... They're JUST SO GOOD. I want more in my life!! But honestly, I haven't been disappointed yet with a Chautona book!!
